Dick Frizzell is well known for his playful and witty screenprints and paintings. The Leger Demain screenprint series from 2006-2008 references cubist masters like Picasso, Leger and Braque. This screenprint reimagines the Maori Tiki in the stylistic conventions of the painter, Fernand Leger. Frizzell explains that the title means 'Leger's the Man' (‘da man!')
